I hope you can learn from my mistakes. First off- do not hire just anyone who has a rig (tractor, excavator, skid steer, etc) and is willing to work. Just like you would not want an intern putting stitches on your face. Why would you want an inexperienced operator working on your property? So I chose "haverigwilldig" to let you know not to hire the rookie. Know your contractor. I have 20 years of experience in the field, and will provide you with the best. Some simple drainage guidelines:

	Water only runs downhill
	1/4" per foot is good drop
	Glue your connections
	Never use 90 degree elbows *
	* Except for vertical to horizontal
	Never use Tee connectors *
	*Use Wye connectors instead
	Pipe should be smooth inside
	Black flex-pipe is a poor choice
	SDR35 is superior to S&D
	Use SDR26 below 15 feet
	Gravel french drains should not be covered with soil
	Water flows into pipe bells.
